The 7 CRMs in detail
1. Zoho CRM
The most common choice for Indian small and mid-sized businesses. It is affordable, billed in rupees, and connects with the rest of Zoho (Books, Forms, Desk) if you use them. The free edition covers up to 3 users. Standard costs ₹800 per user a month and Professional ₹1,400.
Watch out for: it can feel complex out of the box. It works best when someone sets up your pipeline and automations properly from day one.
2. Bigin by Zoho
Zoho's lighter CRM for small teams that just need a clear pipeline, reminders and contact history. Paid plans run from ₹400 (Express) to ₹720 (Premier) and ₹1,080 (Bigin 360) per user a month, and there is a free edition. If you outgrow it, you can move up to Zoho CRM.
3. Freshsales (Freshworks)
A clean, easy CRM with built-in phone and email, from a company founded in India. There is a free plan. Growth costs ₹749 per user a month billed annually, or ₹899 billed monthly. The higher tiers (Pro at ₹3,239, Enterprise at ₹4,899) are a big step up, so check what you actually need.
4. TeleCRM
Built for teams that sell by phone and WhatsApp. It includes a one-click dialer with call recording, follow-ups and lead capture from many sources. It costs ₹799 per user a month billed annually, or ₹1,099 billed quarterly. WhatsApp API setup is a one-time ₹1,999, plus Meta's per-message charges.
5. HubSpot CRM
HubSpot's free CRM is generous and very easy to use. The Starter tier is listed from ₹585 per seat a month on annual billing, but prices rise steeply at Professional. It suits businesses that want email marketing and a CRM in one place, but it gets expensive as you add seats and features.
6. Kylas
An Indian sales CRM with an unusual price model. There is a free plan. The Elevate plan is a flat ₹9,999 a month with unlimited users (as listed in May 2026), which works out cheaper than paying about ₹800 per user once you pass 13 users.
7. LeadSquared
Built for businesses handling hundreds or thousands of leads a month, with field-sales and telecalling teams. It is strong in education, healthcare, real estate and financial services. Pricing is on quote with an annual contract, so it is usually more than a small team needs at the start.
Which CRM fits your business?
| If you are… | Start by trying |
|---|---|
| 1–3 people, fewer than 100 leads a month | Zoho CRM free edition, Bigin or HubSpot free |
| A growing team of 3–15 that wants one system for years | Zoho CRM Standard or Professional |
| A team that closes sales over calls and WhatsApp | TeleCRM or Freshsales |
| Adding many users, such as telecallers | Kylas (flat price) or LeadSquared |
| Also running email newsletters and nurture | HubSpot or Zoho CRM with Zoho Campaigns |
Shortlist two, run your real leads through each free trial for a week, and pick the one your team actually opens every morning. Our guide on how to choose a CRM for a small business has the questions to ask before you buy.
What a CRM really costs
Here is a 5-user team for one year on annual billing:
| CRM and plan | Licence (₹) | With 18% GST (₹) |
|---|---|---|
| Bigin Premier | 43,200 | 50,976 |
| Freshsales Growth | 44,940 | 53,029 |
| TeleCRM | 47,940 | 56,569 |
| Zoho CRM Standard | 48,000 | 56,640 |
On top of the licence, budget for:
- WhatsApp Business API: Meta charges per message for automated templates, usually through a provider.
- Calling: built-in dialers often need a separate phone or calling plan.
- Setup: connecting your website forms, Facebook and Google lead forms and WhatsApp, building the pipeline and training the team. Expect one to three weeks for a small business.
Five checks for Indian businesses
- WhatsApp: does it connect to the WhatsApp Business API, and who pays the per-message charges?
- Lead sources: can Facebook lead ads, Google Ads lead forms and your website form send leads in automatically, without a paid add-on?
- GST invoice: will the vendor bill in rupees with a GST invoice, so you can claim input tax credit?
- Ad tracking: can it store the Google click ID (GCLID) and the campaign, so you can see which ads bring paying customers?
- Exit: can you export all contacts, deals and notes if you switch later?
